On this page
The workspace's central patient registry. Click a patient to open a detail panel with an overview tab (their data) and an exams tab (every report linked to them, with its status and date).
The security group you choose when you create a patient is what controls who can see it — not a specialist. Only workspace members who hold a key to that group can open the record; everyone else, including other admins, can't find it. Pick a shared group when the whole team should see a patient, and a restricted one when only a few people should.
Creating a patient#
Click New patient and fill in:
- Full name (required) and, optionally, a different display name — e.g. a nickname used at the clinic.
- Personal document (ID number), email, phone, birth year, biological sex, gender identity, and race/ethnicity — all optional.
- Tags, comma-separated — optional, used in search.
- A security group (required) — this is the access-control decision; see above.
TODO(gustavo): a screenshot of the create-patient form would help here — the security group field sits at the bottom of a two-column layout and is easy to miss.
Privacy#
Patient data is end-to-end encrypted before it ever leaves your browser — not even the server can read the content, only whoever holds a key to the security group you picked.
Searching#
Free-text search matches display name, full name, tags, and the personal document number you entered — not email or phone. Use the advanced filters (age, biological sex, gender identity, security group) to narrow by anything free text won't catch.
