AI assistant & notifications

What do notifications mean?

The bell icon in the top bar opens your notifications; opening the panel marks everything as read. There are three kinds — a key request that needs an admin's action, an invite accepted, and a generic update — and only the key request needs anyone to do anything.

The bell icon in the top bar opens your notifications. Opening the panel marks everything in it as read — there's no separate action for that. Every notification is one of three kinds, and only one of them needs someone to actually do something.

Key request means a teammate's account is stuck and needs an admin to grant it access. Invite accepted and Update are informational — read them and move on.

1. Key request#

A Key request notification appears when someone accepted an invite to the workspace before an admin had a chance to seal a security group's keys for their account. That account is authorized to be here, but it can't decrypt anything yet — no patients, no exams, no files — until an admin grants it access to the right security group.

To resolve it, an admin grants that account access to the relevant security group(s) from workspace team management. See Invite and manage your team for that. Once the keys are granted, the account can decrypt its data and this notification is marked as handled automatically — no separate step to dismiss it.

2. Invite accepted#

Appears when someone accepts an invite you sent to join the workspace. Nothing to do here.

3. Update#

The catch-all kind for other workspace changes. Nothing to do here either.

Notifications never carry patient data — only the kind of event that happened, so nothing clinical passes through them.
